Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation Seeking Land Conservation Coordinator




The Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation is a statewide 501(c)(3) conservation organization dedicated to protecting Tennessee’s natural treasures including waterfalls, bluffs, working farms and forests, and wildlife areas. We are seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week)entry-level Land Conservation Coordinator.
 
Knowledge/Experience Requirements:
  • Experience, or an academic background, in environmental law, natural resources policy, or the natural sciences. Background or experience in GIS technology is very desirable.
  • Ability to relate well and establish rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, with demonstrable attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
  • Able to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with real estate and/or conservation planning helpful, but not required.
  • Demonstrated community or academic leadership.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the geography, natural resources, and culture of Tennessee
Time Commitment: Flexible business hours will keep work hours to 37.5 hours per week average. Periodic evening and weekend
events, and travel as required. 
 
Salary:  $13.00 per hour, plus insurance stipend
