(1) Volunteer Field Observer Program – We are hosting three trainings for this program at noon on March 6th, at 6pm on March 8th, and at 6pm on March 22nd. All trainings will be hosted in the Mobile Baykeeper office located at 450-C Government St, Downtown Mobile. Volunteers will be trained on how to recognize environmental problems and issues along Alabama shorelines, how to document and report these issues, and who to call to report them. (2) Muddy Water Watch – Our next Muddy Water Watch training will take place on April 17th from 6-8pm in the Mobile Baykeeper office located at 450-C Government St, Downtown Mobile. Volunteers will be trained in how to address stormwater runoff issues and protect Alabama's rivers. Stormwater runoff goes untreated into our rivers and streams and causes serious harm to drinking water quality, wildlife, recreation, and economic activities. (3) Grandman - Mobile Baykeeper is in need of volunteers for the 2012 Grandman Triathlon, which is taking place on June 2, 2012. Volunteers help make thisevent a success by helping out in the office, on the day of the race, and in countless other ways.
